23-28 September 2000, to Beijing to deliver a paper on Government and Information Technology. My airfares (Business Class) were paid by Napier University and my accommodation, food etc in Beijing was paid by the Chinese Government. (Registered 6 October 2000)

7-9 June 2000, British-Spanish All-Party Parliamentary Group meeting with Spanish counterparts in Edinburgh. Travel paid for by British Airways and other expenses met from Group funds provided by our declared sponsors, British Gas plc and the Norwich Union plc. Travel within Edinburgh and other hospitality was provided and paid for by the Scottish Executive. (Registered 26 June 2000)

7-9 July 1999, to Barcelona with the All-Party British-Spanish Parliamentary Group, for working meeting with Spanish counterparts.
